Originally from the Bronx, NY, Dr. Farrington has called Hampton Roads her home for the past 20+ years. She began her nursing career at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in the cardiac and labor & delivery units. She also worked as a nurse practitioner in the labor & delivery units at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital and Sentara Princess Anne Hospital. Taking with her all those invaluable experiences, she decided to pursue her passion of primary care, where she thoroughly loves serving in this capacity.
Dr. Farrington presently works as a primary care provider for QuadMed/HII Family Health Center, is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, a board member of the Virginia Council of Nurse Practitioners, a board member of the Norfolk Community Service Board and an active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Outside of working and being an active participant in her community and professional activities, she very much enjoys spending time with her family.
